A radical take on the traditional concept of the workspace, MAT continues the BULO Carte Blanche range, which allows contemporary designers from a range of disciplines to re-examine and re-interpret the workspace. In designing for BULO, Bikkembergs joins a platform of European design luminaries that includes fashion designer and fellow member of the “Antwerp Six” Ann Demeulemeester, architects Jean Nouvel and bob Van Reeth, interior designer Evelyn Merkx, artist Annabelle d’Huart and Blueprint Award winning designer Maarten Van Severen.
MAT takes the concept of “New Ways of Working” to the extreme, why not work at your laptop whilst lying down, lounging by the pool! The possibilities are endless.
MAT is a 2 X 1 metre gym mat made from bonded foam with a vinyl finish in light or dark blue or beige. It is highly flexible and mobile in every conceivable situation; it can be used as a soft floor cover, as a piece of seating furniture, a standing table, a wall to lean against or simply as a gym mat. Retailing at a cost of MAT can be used in any number of scenarios.
