Brussels-based architect & designer Alain Berteau is a lecturer at Ter Kameren. His activities as an architect, involving both residential and industrial complexes, serve to inform and enrich his activities as a designer. His creations are simple, intense and multivalent, consistently challenging preset typologies.
For Bulo, Berteau designed the TAB chair, a multi-purpose chair with a very specific styling of its own, as a standing invitation for users to assume a variety of different seating positions. As such, Alain Berteau’s design provides an ergonomic response to the user’s need for more active seating comfort. |
